Active & relaxed in Lagundo, South Tyrol
Our corner of the earth in the northernmost part of Italy is a true gem. With all the mountains around and no sea in sight, you wouldn't expect what the weather has to offer: a Mediterranean climate and over 300 days of sunshine per year.
Cozy, warm phases are no exception during spring, summer, and autumn, allowing you to enjoy South Tyrol in all its glory.
Bike adventures
Dream tours for every bike enthusiast
Mountain bike, gravel bike, road bike, e-bike – the list could go on and on. Fortunately, our immediate surroundings offer the best conditions for each of these types of bicycles, allowing you to spend your days on two wheels.
In Val Venosta, mountain bikes and trail bikes will find plenty of exciting terrain. For road cyclists, a quick trip to Bolzano along the MeBo or climbing the Passo di Monte Giovo or Palade offers a thrilling ride. And with an e-bike, you can go anywhere with ease.
Once you're back, you can store your bike in our specially designed and secure bike storage room. You can also service your bikes or charge your e-bikes.

Experience the joy of hiking in South Tyrol
Favorite activity number 1.2 in South Tyrol is undoubtedly hiking. It's easy to see why, with our landscape adorned with countless rustic shelters, alpine huts, irrigation channels (Waalwege), and trails waiting to be explored.
And let's be honest: what could be better than settling down on the sun terrace of such an alpine hut after an extensive hike, sipping a fresh cold drink, and enjoying a hearty meal?
Lagundo ranges from 300 to 3000 meters in elevation, offering something for everyone, from leisurely walkers to adventurous mountain climbers. We're happy to help you find the perfect route.

Cultural gems & culinary delights
Explore the enchanting Merano area
In addition to all the sports, we South Tyroleans also boast a rich cultural heritage – which fortunately extends to our culinary delights. But one thing at a time.
Our spa town of Merano, which you can see beautifully from our garden, is renowned for its numerous historical monuments and buildings, each with its own stories. Not to mention the shopping experience, should you happen to catch one of the 65 non-sunny days. The surrounding villages, such as Dorf Tirol, Schenna, and others, also have much to offer.
If you visit us in the autumn, there's a special treat: the annual Törggelen celebration of the wine harvest.
